The first stage of recruitment has now closed, and as a new production company we are already deeply moved by the response. We received far more applications than we imagined, and what impressed us most was not only the number, but the passion, creativity, and trust you shared with us. Starting out, we could not have hoped for a warmer welcome. We are truly grateful and inspired to continue this journey together.

Casting days will be held at Sokos Hotel President (Helsinki) on November 2 and 16. Selected applicants will be contacted separately with further details.

The production company has prepared a feedback survey for the participants of the first casting day (November 2nd). The survey has been sent by email and is ready for your responses. We truly value your input — every answer helps us refine the process and make future casting experiences even better.

We’ve made a long-term decision — not just for this phase, but for the stories still unfolding. Vanukaz Productions has invested in Canon camera bodies, combining both full-frame and crop-sensor systems to support a wide range of visual needs. This wasn’t just about specs. It was about alignment. We chose a setup that reflects how we work — adaptable, precise, and emotionally resonant. Canon is not our partner, nor our sponsor. It is the system we deliberately chose — because we believe it can rise to the demands of a world of different universes, where each story stands as its own cosmos, and every image is more than a capture: it is vision made visible, rhythm given form, and resonance carved into light.

The final stage of recruitment is now underway: casting days. Final decisions will be sent to applicants by email between 21–25 November.

Our second casting day on November 16th has now concluded. We want to thank all participants for the incredible energy, talent, and heart you brought to the process. Together with the production team, we are reviewing the applications, and the final decisions on who will move forward into production will be made by November 25th at the latest.

Vanukaz Productions announces its third casting day, scheduled for 22 November at Sokos Hotel Heymo in Espoo. This additional day has been arranged to accommodate applicants who were ill or otherwise unable to attend earlier sessions. Reflecting the company’s values of flexibility and second chances, the event ensures that all talents have a fair opportunity to participate.

We would like to inform that our thank‑you message and invitation have been sent to all participants of the casting day held on November 22. As a reminder, everyone selected to join the production will be notified directly by email. This information will be shared by November 25.

We will continue sending notifications until the evening of November 25th, at which point all applicants will have received information regarding the selections.
